RO Membranes

At heart of any reverse osmosis system is its membrane, reverse osmosis membranes  increase their effectiveness with increasing water pressure and temperature. The actual flow rate of any reverse osmosis system depends on your supply water pressure and temperature. So if you have a low tap water pressure, you may wish to consider adding a booster pump to the system to improve the reverse osmosis efficiency and in doing so increase the systems fill rate too.

There are two types of membrane materials in widespread use. These are thin film (TF) and Cellulose Triacetate (CTA) membranes. The thin film membrane is chlorine sensitive and requires carbon pre-treatment to remove the chlorine. The CTA membranes don't. TF membranes have a little higher reject ratio and operate at a wider pH range than the CTA.

Waste

De-Ionising Resin

Removes any remaining calcium, sulfate and alkaline

Reservoir Tank

Water Fed Pole

Reverse Osmosis

Removes 95-98% of calcium & minerals

Carbon Filter

Removes organic chemicals and chlorine

Particulate Filter

Removes large particles of dirt and sediment

Water Source

Pure water dries to a flawless finish and as the window is left sterile with nothing for dirt particles to adhere too, the problems associated with soap residue that traditional window cleaning methods can suffer from, become a thing of the past.

Reverse osmosis units require very little maintenance or monitoring to perform satisfactorily over extended periods of time, and in doing so they can work out to be the most cost effective solution in both hard and soft water areas.

Water fed pole cleaning is at the cutting edge of window cleaning technology, using a reverse osmosis water treatment system in order to produce 100% pure water, when applied to glass the result is a sparkling clean window every time. The osmosis process is completely environmentally friendly, and uses no chemicals or detergents.
